Our Student Safe Taxi Scheme
DJ Taxis care about the wellbeing of the students in our Town, which is why we have partnered up with the North Lincolnshire Council School Transport, North Lindsey College to ensure that you can get home safely with our Student Safe Taxi Scheme. So, if you need a lift home after a night out, or you have found yourself in a vulnerable situation, we are here to help.
If you are a student and use private hire vehicles or hackney carriages around the Town, here are some things to keep in mind:
- Using a reputable firm gives you added peace of mind. Make sure the vehicle which arrives bears the company’s name or logo.
- Don’t trust unlicensed vehicles. Licenses will be displayed on the vehicle with the driver-partners registration and Council license number on it – be sure to make a note of this, as you will need it in the event of a problem.
- A driver partner operating at a rank is working independently, even if the car bears a company logo. Keep this in mind as we wouldn’t be able to identify the driver partner if a problem occurs unless you do not have License number.
